Est. 1987. Give or take.

The Shack Has a History. Most of it is unverified.

How It Started

Nobody remembers exactly when The Puppet Shack Baby opened. There was a building. Then there were puppets in it. The rest is disputed.

The founder — referred to in internal documents only as "R." — reportedly acquired the first puppet at an estate sale in 1987. The estate's owner was not present. This is considered normal.

By 1991, the shack had expanded to include a second shelf. By 1994, a third. The fourth shelf collapsed in 1998 and has not been replaced. We do not discuss the fourth shelf.

What We Believe

1

Puppets are for everyone.

Specifically adults who have made questionable decisions.

2

Quality is subjective.

We prefer the term 'character-rich.'

3

Every puppet has a story.

We don't know what it is. That's your problem now.

4

Returns are complicated.

Emotionally, mostly. Also logistically.
